Saturday was Tom’s first soccer practice.
I think this “league” is going to be awesome for Tom.
They practiced for 30 minutes on Saturday.
This Saturday, they will practice for 30 minutes before immediately playing their first game.
So basically, an hour of practice and then their first game and y’all?
I’M SO EXCITED!!
At Tom’s first practice, he was nervous to go.
I told him all of his friends would be there, but he was still worried.
I realized on the way there, that his main concern was me leaving him. And that’s when I broke the news that Alice and I would be there the whole time.
So…he felt a lot better after that!
Once we were there, though, he was nervous every time he had to stand in line.
Then it would be his turn to kick, and he’d do great!
And then he would immediately be scared about getting in line to do it again.
Ha!
He was great and I was so proud.
I seriously cannot wait for his first game this weekend.
And I’m so excited to officially be a soccer mom.
